Almost Annual Pig Roast
With election day drawing closer, Virginians from across the Commonwealth joined #TeamWarner for some fun at Senator Warner’s (almost) annual pig roast in King George. Folks from across the Commonwealth played games, enjoyed some great food, and signed up to volunteer in their communities.
We had a great time talking to supporters about the importance of this election which is now less than 60 days away. Even with the start of football season, the campaign was at the top of everyone’s minds. People are excited about re-electing Senator Mark Warner and his vision of providing a fair shot for all Virginians.
No party is complete without a few selfies and Senator Warner got in on the action.
Our grassroots team made sure to join in on the fun, whether it was basketball, swimming, canoeing, lawn games, or the main event: the pig.
Other supporters unable to make it to the pig roast didn’t take the day off! They spent Saturday talking to their neighbors about why they support Senator Warner. With football season now in full swing, Rudy represented both Virginia Tech and Senator Warner as he knocked on doors in Chesterfield. Clearly his support worked for Virginia Tech as they went on to beat Ohio State this weekend. Go Hokies!
