Day Two: Fair Shot for All Virginians Tour

Bacon, Bacon, Bacon.

Could you tell we went to Baconfest in Roanoke today? Senator Warner had a great time at the annual festival and as you can expect it was filled with Virginia bacon galore.

For the second day of our Fair Shot for All Virginians Tour, we had a very engaging and productive discussion with women business leaders in Lynchburg. Senator Warner discussed his work to invest in women-run small businesses and his success in passing crowd funding legislation through the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act, which increases the ease of financing for startup companies.

Senator Warner also talked about supporting legislation like the Startup Act 3.0 that encourages small businesses to grow and thrive. Small businesses, especially women-owned businesses, are so vital to growing jobs and ensuring opportunity right here in Virginia.

We also had the opportunity to stop in Campbell County. Senator Warner had a great time honoring its rich traditions at their Heritage Festival.

Finally, Senator Warner was joined by hundreds of supporters at his Roanoke Campaign Office Opening. Thank you to everyone who came out to hear Senator Warner talk about his work ensuring a fair shot for everyone, and the need for us all to work together to win in November.
