Fourth of July Parade: From An Intern Point of View
This weekend was fantastic. It was my second week interning on the Mark Warner for Virginia campaign and my first ever time being in a Fourth of July Parade!
We had a ton of volunteers out in support of Senator Warner and his message of bringing commonsense, bipartisan solutions to Virginia.
I decided to intern for Senator Warner’s re-election campaign because I believe in his goals of providing everyone with a fair shot, whether that means providing equal pay for equal work or allowing any person to marry whomever they love.
With our shared vision for our country’s future, I was very excited to see Senator Warner at the July 4th parades. He definitely did not disappoint and he made sure to bring enthusiasm to an already energized 4th of July parade.
It was great to see so many Virginians of all ages excited to see Senator Warner, especially because many are supporting his proven record as a common sense, problem solver for Virginian families.
He was excited to see them too!
All in all, it turned out to be a great day. I made some great friends and even got my own selfie with Senator Warner.
I am so glad to be a part of Team Warner and to be on the ground supporting Senator Warner’s vision to provide a fair shot for all. It was so inspiring to be a part of these July 4th parades, I cannot wait for the adventures to come!
