Virginia's Senator

Labor Day Weekend Roundup

This Labor Day weekend, we had a great time celebrating Virginia traditions. Senator Warner joined community members at the historic Buena Vista Labor Day Parade, an event he has attended for over two decades.

Here is a look back at Senator Warner at the Buena Vista Parade in 1996:

And here’s Senator Warner now:

As you can see, Senator Warner still knows how to work a Labor Day parade! We also stopped by the Local 675 Labor Day Parade, where It was great to see so many friendly and familiar faces.

Senator Warner also met with community members at Ashby Ponds Retirement home in Ashburn. We enjoyed discussing topics important to our seniors, including the Senator’s bipartisan work to pare down our national debt and to strengthen initiatives that provide opportunities for generations to come.

Overall, it was a great weekend for Team Warner. We had volunteers across the Commonwealth out knocking doors and making phone calls in support of Senator Warner and his work to reach across the aisle to find common sense solutions for all Virginians. We appreciate all of your support!
